Offering selectable Overland Edition with 12V plug power, suction cup mount, SXS Edition with hardwired power and bar mount, it provides turn-by-turn navigation for unpaved roads and high-definition digital elevation maps, with preloaded maps for North and South America, City Navigator maps, and a preloaded directory of Ultimate Public Campgrounds for more than 46,000 camping locations across the U.S. Connectivity with Wi-Fi technology allows subscription-free satellite imagery downloads for high-resolution overhead views, with support for Outdoor Maps+ for ongoing access to premium content like burn zones and night lights. The Tread app enables route planning, ride discoveries, friend location tracking, and live weather radar viewing while its pair to the Garmin PowerSwitch digital switch box offers convenient control of 12-volt electronics. Built-in altimeter, barometer, compass and pitch/roll gauge allow for tough-terrain guidance. Optional pairing with the Group Ride Radio accessory and a compatible inReach satellite communicator, enables location sharing, voice communication, two-way messaging and interactive SOS functions. Snowmobile trail content from select U.S. and Canadian provinces, trail difficulty ratings for off-road riding areas in the U.S., and integration with a compatible Garmin GPS dog tracker are also available.
