\r\rA – There are loads of reasons why your ATV belt might fail. So, let's dig deeper into the most common causes of failure. The first one, which you can fix yourself, is when you go all out with the RPM engagement. We get it, you love to rev up that engine while you're cruising. But here's the catch: it can mess up the belt cords and make them snap in no time.\r\r\r\rRepeated shock-loading or excessive belt speed can totally wreck the belt, breaking it into tiny pieces. And guess what? If you leave the ATV idling for ages or go full throttle all the time, you'll end up with uneven wear, a.k.a. hour-glassing. Oh, and here's a surprise: not following Polaris's recommendation to replace the belt will result in total failure. So, take care of that belt!\r\rQ – How Can I Prevent a Rzr Belt Failure?
